Bayou Vista is a census-designated place (CDP) in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 4,652 at the 2010 census.[2] It is part of the Morgan City Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Bayou Vista is located at 29°41′26″N 91°16′9″W / 29.69056°N 91.26917°W / 29.69056; -91.26917 (29.690521, -91.269048).[3]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.9 square miles (5.0 km2), of which 1.8 square miles (4.7 km2) is land and 0.15 square miles (0.4 km2), or 7.52%, is water.[2]
